Lemon Tart with a Buttery Shortbread Crust

This sweet and savory lemon tart dessert is pure heaven and melts in your mouth with every bite! From the buttery shortbread crust, to the sweet and creamy lemon curd then topped with fresh fruit and powdered sugar, this dessert is rich and flavorful.

Ingredients

Shortbread Crust

½ cup powdered sugar
1 ½ cup flour
¾ cup unsalted butter sliced
1 recipe perfect lemon curd

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a food processor, add the ½ cup powdered sugar, 1 ½ cup flour, and ¾ cup unsalted butter. Pulse until combined.
Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch tart pan and poke the bottom of the crust with a fork.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool the crust.
Make 1 recipe perfect lemon curd.
Pour into the bottom of the shortbread crust. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight until set.
