Grilled Pizza Recipe
This grilled pizza delivers big flavor with a crispy crust and smoky finish. You can top it however you like!
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons pizza sauce
- ½ cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- pepperoni
- fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oil them.
- Roll the 1 pizza dough, out and brush it with 2 teaspoons olive oil.
- Place the pizza dough, oiled side down, on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the underside has grill marks.
- Remove the pizza crust from the grill and lay it, grill side up, on a work surface. Spread the 3 tablespoons pizza sauce on the crust, followed by the ½ cup shredded Mozzarella cheeseand pepperoni.
- Place the topped pizza back on the grill, reduce the heat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and grill until the cheese is melted and toppings are toasted, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from the grill, top with fresh basil, cut into 6 slices, and serve fresh!
