Ingredients

4-5 large sweet potatoes
½ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse and scrub 4-5 large sweet potatoes. Peel and slice the potatoes to about ¼-inch thick.
In a medium-sized saucepan, add ½ cup butter and melt over medium-high heat. Add 1 cup brown sugar and stir.
Add the sweet potatoes to a 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish, and pour the brown sugar butter mixture on top. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and stir. Bake for 10-15 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender. Let sit for about 10 minutes to let the sauce thicken before serving.
