Ingredients

4 pork chops
½ cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Combine ½ cup light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper in a small bowl.
Rub 4 pork chops evenly with the sugar mixture. Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place each pork chop carefully into the hot skillet and cook undisturbed for about 5-8 minutes on each side.
The pork chops should have a nice brown sear on each side and the internal temperature should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
