Ingredients

6 cups peeled and cored apple slices
⅓ cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup cubed salted butter

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9x9-inch baking pan or 2-quart baking dish with pan spray and set aside.
Combine 6 cups peeled and cored apple slices, ⅓ cup packed brown sugar, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice in a large bowl until all the apples are evenly coated.
Transfer into the prepared baking dish and dot with the ¼ cup cubed salted butter. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Serve warm with ice cream on the side.
