Hi itโ€™s Tiffany from Creme de la Crumb, can you believe itโ€™s February?! What is going on here?? Valentines Day is practically here and I havenโ€™t made a single batch of sugar cookies or found a gift for my special someone. However, I have made a really delicious dessert that I think would top even the biggest heart-shaped box of chocolates you could get your hands on and Iโ€™m going to share it with you today!

This Browned Butter Banana Cake is one of my favorite cake recipes! I canโ€™t stand bananas plain, but Iโ€™ll eat them in cookies, bread, and this cake.

This Browned Butter Banana Cake is incredibly moist and sweet, and the browned butter takes the flavor to a whole new level of delicious. Top that with a perfect and simple brown sugar frosting and youโ€™re in banana cake heaven!

  1. The cake was delicious. The frosting would have been better if it was cooked because it turned out gritty from the brown sugar. I will make again, but with a cooked version of the frosting.

    1. I noticed that too, but it didnโ€™t really matter that much to us. Next time, though, i think iโ€™m going to try cream cheese frosting. it was my husbandโ€™s idea cause he thought it was too sweet for โ€˜daily consumptionโ€™ for him, but he loved it, iโ€™m telling ya,, ๐Ÿ™‚
